Fees & Payments

Private psychological services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, many extended health benefit plans cover part or all of the cost of psychological services.


Costs for psychological services that are not reimbursed by your insurance provider may be claimed for tax deductions as a medical health expense, and possibly as a business expense.


Payment is due at the end of each session, and payable by credit card or email transfer. A receipt for the services received will be provided to you, and can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement or retained for income tax purposes.


Because different extended health carriers differ in what kind of coverage they provide, you are encouraged to check with your insurer if psychological services are covered fully or in part, and whether a referral from a primary care physician is required for fees to be reimbursed.


Fees are consistent with the recommended guidelines set forth by the Ontario Psychological Association.

Should there be any changes to fees, you will be provided with at least 30-days notice.

Cancellation Policy

Please be advised that we reserve the right to bill you for the full rate of sessions missed within a less than 24-hour cancellation notice.
